ACKY ESTATES

WELCOME to our web page.
My wife and I are beginning to realize one of our goals.
One of these goals is to breed, raise and enjoy top quality Tobiano Paint horses.
The first step towards this goal was my Christmas present, of 1998, to my wife Sue,
Sues Ackerman (Acky)

Sues Ackerman comes from a extensive background of foundation bloodlines

I am a Viet Nam era combat veteran with
PTSD
. I served with
B co. 1/52
Bn
198th LIB
of the Americal Division. Our horses have become an ongoing source of therapy for me. I have heard of the benefits of animal therapy and have had dogs as pets, but our horses are a great source of comfort , solitude and peace. Horses do have their moments which test my patience; patience is another of the things, I believe, our horses have helped me improve.
