  They had 16 ch/per son ; Elisha A Matney's biography.
  He was known as a goldsmith & farmer.
  They lived in Powell's Valley, Campbell & Clairborne Co, TN 
  Early 1800s Howard Co, MO by 1822, Haywood Co,TN 1825 Court record, 
  Macon Co, MO by 1843 land record where he lived,
  until going to OR 1864 with son Elisha A & grson Stephen Mayben. 
  He died in southern OR 1870-74.
